My name is Jessica Borho, and I will be teaching 3rd grade. I have been an educator for 20 years and have had the privilege of teaching a variety of subjects to students from various age groups and backgrounds. Teaching is not just a profession for me; it is my true passion. I find immense fulfillment in guiding young minds, fostering their curiosity, and witnessing their growth throughout the year. Teaching is truly in my genes because my Dad was an educator for 40 + years, and my sister taught Jr High School and High School Science for 10 years. I have been married for 8 years to a fabulous guy named Stephen, and we share a rambunctious 6 1 ⁄ 2 year old little boy named Will. He will attend First Grade at South Central this upcoming school year. Catholic Schools have played a huge role in my life growing up as a child and as a teacher. I attended St. Joseph Catholic School in Corydon from 1st-8th grades. My niece and nephews currently attend Holy Family Catholic School and Our Lady of Providence High School.

One thing that I want to emphasize is my unwavering dedication to the success of each student. I believe that every child has the potential to excel, and it is my goal to create a nurturing and inclusive learning environment where they feel supported and motivated to reach their full potential. I firmly believe that education is not just about imparting knowledge but also about instilling a love for learning, fostering critical thinking skills, and nurturing their unique talents and strengths.

As an educator, I am committed to going above and beyond to ensure that my students receive a high-quality education. I will strive to create engaging and interactive lessons that cater to various learning styles, utilize innovative teaching strategies, and incorporate real-world applications of the subject. Additionally, I strongly believe in open communication and collaboration between parents, students, and myself. Together, we can create a strong support system for your child's academic and personal growth.
