I attended St. Anthony School as a student from second through eighth grade. I graduated from Jeffersonville High School in 1997. I attended Indiana University Southeast and received my Elementary Education Bachelor's degree in December 2001 and my Master's degree in 2008.
I began working at St. Anthony School in 2002. I began teaching in 3rd grade and stayed there for ten years. I then made the move to Kindergarten where I have taught for almost 10 years. I love different things about both grades, but I really enjoy all the fun things I gets to do with my students in Kindergarten. I have been a part of the SAS Student Council for many years. I also co-created the Kindness Club and Friendship Club which has had an overwhelming response from the students. I am in charge of the Children’s Church program which runs every Sunday during the 11AM mass.
I am married to Tom Bettler who is also an avid volunteer at St. Anthony’s School and Parish. Together, we have 2 sons, Jackson and Luke. We have a greyhound named Hoosier. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, watching T.V., crafting for school, and supporting my kids in all the sports they are a part of. I am so blessed to be a part of this SAS family!
Educational Statement
I want my students to enjoy coming to school! Each child is special, and I want them to know they can do anything they set their minds to. Every child can learn and succeed. I also want them to know God loves them, and I want to help them see how He is working in their lives every day! Academics are important, but it is also important to have a relationship with God. That is why I love teaching at a Catholic school!
