About Me
I received my undergrad degree in oboe performance from Chicago Musical College of Roosevelt University. I have a master’s degree in oboe performance from the University of Kentucky and did post grad work toward a second master’s degree in Music History.
I have taught at several Universities, such as: University of Kentucky, Bellarmine University, Indiana University Southeast, and several colleges in Chicago. I have also taught in the High School, Middle School, and Elementary levels in Hardin County, Oldham County, and Jefferson County, Kentucky along with several High Schools in Chicago. I began teaching at St. Anthony School in 2019.
I have one brother, two Saint Bernards and two cats. I love gardening, movies, any types of performing arts, and Pokemon Go. Some fun facts about me are that I am a professional Oboist and have played with the Louisville Orchestra, Bach Society, Master Chorale, Louisville Ballet and the Louisville Opera. There are several CD's that I have played on, the most recent is Arlo Guthrie In Times Like These. My two favorite performances were playing during mass at the Vatican and at the Military Base in Beijing China. I love to travel and collect different instruments from around the world. My most recent travels took me to Mexico.
