The NED Show is a character education program that centers around three important messages that have lifelong relevance; Never give up, Encourage others, and Do your best. The NED Show will be visiting St. Anthony School on Wednesday, October 2nd. During the assembly, students will learn about the importance of these three life skills while also enjoying storytelling, magic, humor, and yo-yo tricks. Our school gets the assembly at no cost because we’re hosting a Pay-It-Forward Sale. Students will be allowed to purchase yo-yos on October 3rd, 14th, 15th. An order form will be sent home next week.
I want to give a shout out to all of our grandparents. Grandparent’s Day was a huge success. We enjoyed celebrating Mass with grandparents, playing Bingo, activities in the classroom, taking pictures, and eating donuts. It was a great time to share with grandparents and make many memories. Thanks to all grandparents for making this day so special.

The St. Anthony Student Council is partnering with ABC Promise to teach children about caring for the earth and green living. In doing so, we are asking for donations of plastic caps and lids. If you click on the title link, you will see the link for attached pictures of acceptable caps to send in. When we receive 250lbs of plastic, we will be able to turn these in and the company will create for us a bench to place in the fenced in playground area. Can you help St. Anthony School and make a difference for the planet?
We have been blessed with our Stewardship Friday Program at St. Anthony School. Mr. Jim Kenney has done an excellent job of developing and maintaining this program for Grades K – 8. Mr. Kenney is ready to pass this program on and we are looking for an individual or a group of individuals that would be willing to lead this program. This is definitely a program that benefits our students and we want to keep it a part of SAS. If you are interested in learning more details about leading the Stewardship Friday Program, please contact Stephany Tucker.
Help raise money for our 7th and 8th grade Washington D.C trip. Buffalo Wild Wings in Clarksville will donate 10% of your bill (carry out or dine in) on Monday, September 9th. Enjoy a night out and help support our SAS Students.
We are very excited to celebrate Grandparent’s Day. To celebrate Grandparent’s Day, we’d like to invite all grandparents to attend Mass with their grandchildren on Wednesday, September 18th at 8:00 a.m. Grandparents will meet students in the church hallway by the Social Hall and will sit together as a family. Grandparents may then come to school and enjoy activities in the classroom from 9:00 a.m. -10:15 a.m. We have included an RSVP form for Grandparent’s Day. This is to provide us with an estimate on how many people will be in church. Please fill out the form and return to school. We are very excited to see many grandparents on this day. Preschool will hold Grandparent’s Day at a different time. Mrs. Steurer will be sending this information home at a later date.
