I also want to thank the following people for their help with the Program: • All of our teachers for helping with the program and rearranging schedules throughout the week. • Mrs. Duggins for designing the cover of the program. • Mrs. Doerr for preparing the costumes for our kindergarten students. • Students and families for being a part of such a special event.

Elks Free Throw Contest Every year St. Anthony’s participates in the Elks National Hoop Shoot Free Throw Contest. This is a great opportunity for the students to exhibit their talents for shooting free throws and, maybe, compete on a National basis. The contest is split into different age levels. We had 5 students who were our school level winners; these students went to Wilson Elementary to compete. Jimena Carrillo Jamila Carrillo Beau Simmons Reece McKee Cooper Abell I would like to recognize Reece McKee, who advanced on to the next round of competition. Reece shot 20 out of 25 free throws. We wish Reece the best of luck in the next round! Shout Out I would like to give a shout out to Aubrey Burton for all of her extra help in the preschool. She has done a wonderful job with decorating, preparing gifts and helping the preschoolers shop at Secret Santa.
I would like to send a shout out to Roxanne Reiter and her many elves for planning and organizing the Secret Santa for our students. It is such a fun event for the children. They love being able to shop for their parents, siblings, grandparents, and other family members. Thank you to everyone who helped make this event so special. Also thanks to Mr. Dino for providing breakfast and lunch to our helpers.

This month our trait is: Integrity. Students are asked to practice being a gracious winner or loser. If you win, don’t brag about it and if you lose, congratulate the winner. Make sure that you don’t take more than you give. Always be on the lookout on how you can help others.
