The Kindness Club is leading a Christmas outreach project and we could use your help. We wanted to do something to help others for Christmas. We contacted St. Elizabeth Charities and got a list of needs for mothers and children. We have various needs that we could fulfill, mostly clothes. The Kindness Club is asking for donations in the form of Walmart gift cards or cash in any amount. We will shop for the mothers and children so we don’t get duplicates. Any amount will be greatly appreciated! We would love to have the donations by Monday, December 2. You can send gift cards to the office in an envelope marked “Attention Kindness Club.” Then at our December meeting (December 3), the kids will sort, package and wrap the gifts for the St. Elizabeth’s families. Thank you in advance for your help and generosity!

A huge shout out to Thomas Lynch for being such a good sport as the Bear Mascot and making everyone feel welcome. Lastly, a shout out to the Clarksville McDonalds for their wonderful hospitality.

It is that time of year again, the time for inclement weather. Remember that St. Anthony School is on its own in making the decision to close. We know that many of our students come from different locations and outlying areas, and we may still be in school when roads in your area may not be safe. While safety is our utmost concern, it is your ultimate decision if your child comes to school on a day when there is inclement weather. Please remember that our school closing will only be posted on WDRB Fox TV, St. Anthony Website, SAS Parent Facebook Page, or you can call the school. Also remember you can sign up for WDRB Snow Fox Alerts.
Our SAS Jamboree on Friday showcased our athletics. Thanks for coming out, supporting and cheering them on! Good Luck to our basketball players, cheer and dance teams! Go Bears!

We are at the halfway point for the 2nd quarter. Please make sure to review your child’s grades in Jupiter. It is helpful to discuss the grades with your child and talk about areas they may need to improve. If you have any questions about your child’s grade, please contact your child’s teacher.

I want to give a shout out to Jennifer Vizhnay and her helpers for putting together our first Veteran’s Day Program. The breakfast and program was a wonderful way for St. Anthony’s to say thank you to our Veterans for their service. I want to say thanks to the Veterans that were able to attend. I would like to thank Chief Master Sergeant James Tongate for speaking at the program. Also, thanks to Ms. Alberts and the ensemble for the patriotic performance.
