WOW! St. Anthony’s put on an amazing performance of Singin’ In The Rain Jr. I would like to give a special shout out to Mrs. Doerr and Mr. Webb and the many teachers, parents, and students who put on such a wonderful production. From the set design to the costumes to the musical talent the show was fantastic. We truly have amazing talent here at SAS. Thanks to the cast for all of your hard work. I heard so many wonderful reviews of the show. I would also like to thank Mrs. Jacque Singleton for her choreography; Mr. Tony Singleton for help with the lighting; the Reyes family for their help with the sound system, Mr. Dino and his crew for the delicious dinner on Friday night, and Jeff Wagner our Student Director and Master Of Ceremonies.
This week we have been celebrating Catholic Schools Week. This year the theme is “Catholic Schools: Learn. Serve. Lead. Succeed. This theme encompasses the core products and values that can be found in Catholic Schools. In Catholic Schools, we are all learners, servants, and leaders. These shared qualities are what make Catholic Schools work. They are what make Catholic Schools succeed. I am grateful every day for the teachers, staff, parents, students, and volunteers who make our school a success. National Catholic Schools Week is a good time for all of us to thank them for their dedication and service.

St. Anthony School’s Open House for prospective families is coming up! On Sunday, February 3rd, members of the Enrollment Committee and other volunteers will lead individual tours for students and their parents from 10:30 AM – 1:30 PM. Guests will meet teachers and staff, visit classrooms, learn about grade level curriculum, and receive admissions information, including details about tuition, SGO’s, and Indiana’s School Choice Scholarships. Help support SAS by passing along details about the Open House to friends, neighbors, and fellow parishioners with school-aged children. We are looking for volunteers who will help in the preparation for this event and also for people who want to help the day of Open House. If you would be interested in helping out, please email Valerie Davis at [email protected] or contact the school office at 812-282-2144.
• As we begin the New Year, we would like to remind parents that if you have changed your cell phone number, taken a new job, or changed your address the office needs to know. Please call the office and let either Emily or Kim know the changes. • We would also like to remind you that many of the students are in need of new supplies-paper, crayons, markers, pencils, pens, etc. You may need to restock their supplies. • We also have a few PE uniforms and new sweatshirts that are left from our last order. If you are in need of any of these items please, call the office.
