We appreciate all the Football / Cheer / Dance Team / Volleyball team members, coaches and parent volunteers who made the fall sports possible this season! Thank You Brian Miller for your leadership and commitment during your term as the Football Program rep.
I want to give a shout out to our Football, Cheer, Dance, Volleyball, and Cross Country teams. All teams had a great season and did a wonderful job representing SAS. Go Bears!
I scream. You scream. We all scream for ice cream!!! It's class competition time for box tops. Class competition started on Monday, September 18th and ends on Friday September 29th. Winning class gets an out of uniform day and ice cream party to be determined by the teacher. Send those box tops in starting next week c/o Abby Hoyland 4F. Please mark on the envelopes or ziplock bags, names of all children and their home rooms. Good luck to all classes and let's earn some money for SAS!!
The first birthday party of the school year is this Friday, September 22nd. The party will honor the students who have birthdays in June, July, August, and September. For those of you who are new to St. Anthony, the school celebrates the birthdays in groups three times a year. Students who have a birthday during these months may be out of uniform on this day and are recognized at the class party. Room mothers will provide a treat for the class on these special days. Room parents if you are bringing in items please clearly mark them with the room number so that we know who the items belong to.
Picture retakes will be Thursday, September 21st. If your child was absent on picture day, please bring in order form on this day. If you are not satisfied with your pictures, return your original package on picture retake day. Your child may be out of uniform for picture retakes, but please follow the guidelines in the handbook.
I want to give a Shout Out to all our St. Anthony Grandparent’s. Grandparent’s Day was a huge success. I was overwhelmed with the number of grandparents that attended. They were able to go to church, play Bingo, complete an interview, make a craft, and get a photo. It was a great opportunity for students to spend time with grandparents.
I want to give a shout out to the students at SAS. On Friday, September 1st, we had 100% of our students attending school from grades K-8. This is a huge accomplishment! We were able to celebrate Friday afternoon by having a Drop Everything and Dance. I hope we can have more days with 100% attendance.
