I would like to thank all the basketball coaches, dance team coaches, concession stand head, concession stand workers, the people who took the money at the doors, and the parents who helped with the scorebook or scoreboard. We appreciate the many hours that you spent working with our students and giving them the opportunity to play basketball and dance. Thank you for your time, your talent, and your service to St. Anthony School students.
Last week, I thanked the Jeffersonville Knights of Columbus for their donation of $3,000 to help offset the cost of the air conditioner in the computer room. I also approached the St. Anthony Men’s Club and asked them to match the donation from the K of C. I am happy to say that the St. Anthony Men’s Club also contributed $3,000 for the project. Gentlemen, I want to thank you for your generosity in helping pay for this project. ~ Mrs. Sheila Noon
Do you know a family with school-aged children who may be interested in St. Anthony School? With our Open House quickly approaching on February 5th, we’re asking you to submit the names and contact information of prospective families to Mrs. Noon ASAP. We’ll add those names to our mailing list when we send out Open House invitations next week. In accordance with our recruitment policy, you are eligible to receive a $200 tuition credit for each new family referral resulting in enrollment in grades K through 8. If that family enrolls at SAS, you will have $200 credited to your tuition account! Thanks for your help!! (The new family must list your name as a referring family on their registration form and remain enrolled for a minimum of one semester. The $200 will be credited at the end of the new family’s first semester at St. Anthony School.)
For many years we have struggled with heat issues in our school’s computer lab. In the fall I was approached by a parent and a K of C member, Kip Connin, who offered to ask the K of C for help in the project. During their meeting there were more of our parishioners who spoke up and helped with this request. I am happy to say that the Knights of Columbus contributed $3,000 for the project. The AC was installed over Christmas and it is making a difference in the room. Many thanks to the Knights of Columbus for their generosity.
The St. Vincent de Paul Society would like to thank all of you who donated food during the holidays. This directly helps the cause of feeding those in need. God Bless You! ~The volunteers of the St. Vincent de Paul Society
Congratulations to St. Anthony School for receiving an overall A grade in the state accountability A-F Grades that are based on last year’s testing date. We congratulate our teachers for their efforts, our students on their hard work, and our parents for their support. Thank you for an outstanding job!
