During this season of thanks and giving, we asked if you would be willing to donate food to help those who are hungry. On November 20th, 23rd, and 24th, we collected all the food that was sent in. We are truly blessed and thankful to all of you. The outpouring of donations will help many who are hungry this holiday season. Thank you so much for all of your help.

Congratulations go to former St. Anthony student, Marco Garcia, for recently being named a 2016 National Merit Semifinalist in the 2016 National Merit Scholarship Program. Marco is the son of Edgardo and Victoria Garcia. Marco is a senior at St. Xavier High School. He is a Student Ambassador, a peer tutor, member of the National Honor Society, member of the Rykin Service Club, and co-founder of the Ultimate Frisbee Club. Marco would like to attend Purdue University and he wants to major in Electrical and Computer Engineering. Marco, we are so very proud of you and this outstanding award!!

Grades K-4 participated in the Floyd Memorial Hospital “Color Your World” Contest. One winner per grade was chosen to represent St. Anthony School. The Winners are: Kindergarten, Autumn Terry; First Grade, Madeleigh Kochersperger; Second Grade, Kacy Schuley; Third Grade, Michelle Landeros; and Fourth Grade, Carlos Reyes. Their pictures will be framed and hung in the halls of the hospital and the artists and their families will be invited to a reception in their honor. Congratulations to all of you!

The 7th and 8th grade students recently competed in a school Science Fair. The students did a great job on their projects. Our students who placed 1st through 3rd will go on to compete at the Providence Deanery Science Fair on Friday, November 6th. We wish them good luck at the deanery Science Fair.
