Updated Health Guidance
A letter was sent home to all families yesterday regarding new guidance from the Indiana Department of Health. St. Anthony School will be making the following changes based on the new guidance from the Indiana Department of Health:
- Effective Monday, February 28, 2022, face masks will be recommended (parental choice).
- Contact tracing and quarantines are no longer required for those exposed to COVID-19. We will continue to make families aware of potential exposure and the importance of monitoring symptoms.
- If an individual tests positive for COVID-19, then notify the school office and the individual must isolate for 5 full days from the start of symptoms or the date of the positive test.
- In order to return to school, the individual must wear a mask for an additional 5-day period (Days 6-10).
- If at any time our school has a drastic increase in absenteeism, a COVID-19 outbreak, or receives new guidance from the state or local health departments, then we will consider requiring masks for a period of time.
- Please do not send your child to school if he or she has any symptoms of illness. As with any illness, individuals should not return to school unless they are fever free for at least 24 hours (without the use of fever reducing medication) and their symptoms are resolving.
