On Thursday, February 15th, St. Anthony School held their annual Scripp Spelling Bee Competition. Each classroom had a spelling bee to determine the classroom winner. Our classroom winners then competed to find the overall school winner. The entire school body enjoyed a lively spelling bee where for several rounds there were no missed words. A special thanks goes to Cheryl Freund who did a super job as pronouncer, and the judges Glenda Minnick and Judge Jimmy Guilfoyle. I would also like to thank Mrs. Marabeth Thomas for being the coordinator of the Spelling Bee. Congratulations to our school winner, sixth grader, Jeremy Lopez. Jeremy will move on to the regional Scripp Spelling Bee. The runner up was sixth grader, Carter Lannan.
