Thanks to everyone who purchased PTO SCRIP certificates last year. The SCRIP program will be continued during the 2018-2019 school year. Projected sales dates are listed below. Scrip is a term that means “substitute money”. When school families and parishioners buy scrip, they are purchasing negotiable gift certificates and prepaid cards that are used just like cash. They can be used to purchase everyday expenditures like food, clothing, gifts, and other essentials. Every scrip purchase earns revenue for the school. The program is very easy to use. I will place an order approximately once a month. Order forms will be in the Bear Facts and on the parish website. You choose the gift certificates you want to buy and then return the form and payment to school by the due date. The following week, scrip certificates will be available for pick-up in the school office. The school earns from two to fifteen percent of the face value of the scrip. The deadline for the first scrip order will be August 17th. Checks need to be made to St. Anthony PTO. Place the order form and payment in an envelope labeled PTO Scrip and turn it in to the office.
