One of the most valuable life skills a student can learn from his/her parent/guardian is the responsibility of arriving at school every day on time. This skill can easily be accomplished and will transfer as a valuable asset for the future. One of the most important times of the school day is the morning. This is a time for students to prepare for the day. Students can miss valuable instruction time by being late in the morning. The whole tone of a child’s school day is set in the first part of the day. Please help support your children in learning habits that will help them be successful at school and throughout life. Consequences for excessive tardiness per quarter 1st tardy-Warning 2nd tardy-Warning 3rd tardy-Warning letter to parent 4th tardy-Detention to be served After the initial 4 tardies, the student will serve a detention for each additional tardy. If a child serves 4 or more detentions in a quarter, then a meeting will be set up with parents and Principal to discuss further consequences.
