Safety Drills
The safety of our St. Anthony School community is one of our top priorities. Our school implements and practices school safety protocols every year. Our school continually reviews safety plans for natural events (tornado, earthquake), building issues (fire), and threats of violence (lockdowns, lockouts). We are in constant communication with the Archdiocese of Indianapolis and local law enforcement to ensure that we are doing everything we can to keep our community safe. At the beginning of each year and throughout the year, safety protocols are reviewed with staff and students. Each month we will perform safety drills to help us be better prepared if an actual situation arises. It is important that you speak with your children about the importance of safety within our school community and the importance of taking safety drills seriously. It is also important that we stress to students if they see or hear something that doesn’t seem quite right, speak up and say something. We appreciate your help and support in this matter.
