The New Albany Deanery Fine Arts Fair competition is coming up after Spring Break. This is a perfect time to sharpen your pencils to draw, fluff up your brushes to paint, heat up your glue gun to construct a 3-D piece, and sharpen your focus to capture an unforgettable photograph; all to create award-winning pieces for St. Anthony School. Entries will be accepted from Grades 3rd & 4th, 5th & 6th, and Grades 7 & 8. Remember when entering your artwork that presentation is key to winning. If you glue or tape your 2-D art on poster board or place in a frame the judges will see your art so much better. The same is true for photography when you put it in a frame. Good luck over spring break with your ideas. The entries and filled out form are due to Mrs. Roehm at School on Tuesday, April 23rd. Forms are coming home today in the Bear Facts or can be picked up in the Art room. Mrs. Roehm will deliver the pieces to Providence High School. Thanks for stepping up and sharing your special talents with everyone.
