Kindergarten, 1st, 2nd , 3rd , 4th , 5th and 6th Grade Classes will have Stewardship Friday on February 13th. Here is what we will cover:
- Kindergartener's will learn that:1) our families area blessing from God; 2) not all children have families;and 3) children without families are sometimes adopted by loving families.
- 1st Grader's will learn that: 1)we have neighbors who are in need in other parts of the world;and 2)neighbors in need can still be happy. Don't forget to send in their decorated shoe box and a gently used pair of shoes you no longer need. We are donating the shoes to needy families.
- 2nd Grader's - will understand the difference between meeting the immediate needs of our neighbors who are hungry and helping them build a better future for themselves and their families.
- 3rd Grader's - will learn that young children and people who are elderly can have special friendships.
- 4th Grader's will understand what it might feel like to have a learning difference.
- 5th Grader's - will learn about the Stewardship Virtue of integrity and why it is important for Christians to live lives of integrity.
- 6th Grader's -will hear from a panel of speakers about their foster care and adoption experiences. Students will learn about foster and/or adoptive parenting, why it is important, why people choose it, what some of the challenges may be, and what the positive aspects are.
