Our elves have been at work preparing for the annual “Secret Santa Shop” and want to share the details with you! This annual event allows SAS students to shop for Christmas gifts for family, teachers, and pets. During the school day, your child will be able to visit the magic elf workshop and personally select an item to be gift wrapped for the special person(s) on his/her Christmas list. There is a large selection of gifts to choose from, and elves will be on hand to help guide your tots in the right direction.
Here is what you need to do:
Send $2 per gift to school by Tues, Nov. 25. (We humbly ask that you pay attention to this deadline because late money makes extra work for Santa’s elves.) Include the money in an envelope with your child’s name and homeroom on front. We ask each family to send in one envelope with each child listed separately on the front, along with the number of gifts they want to purchase.
Ross Reyes, 8T, 3 gifts
Claire Reyes, 7B, 6 gifts
On Wednesday, Dec 3, we will send gift labels for each of your children home in the Wednesday notes. Help your child to fill these out at home, and then send them back to school on Thursday or Friday. The students will use these labels for their gifts and to remind them whom they are shopping for. That’s all there is to it!
We are in need of volunteer elves for the big event…Please call us! We will provide donuts, a festive atmosphere, and plenty of smiling children. We can’t think of a better way to earn service hours! Here’s to the Holiday Season!
