I want to congratulate our 6th, 7th and 8th grade students that participated in the Science Fair this year. The following winners will advance on to the Deanery Science Fair at Providence High School. 8th Grade: 1st Place: Tessa Holifield – “How the ‘Stroop Effect’ Changes with Age” 2nd Place: Charlotte Fisher – “Do Colors Matter?” 3rd Place: Alex LaMaster - “Melting and Measuring” and Jeremy Lopez – “Effect of Temperature on Rubber Bands” 7th Grade 1st Place: Garrett Skeens – “Is the ‘Five Second Rule’ Feasible?” 2nd Place: Henry Dixon – “What is the Best Paper Airplane?” 3rd Place: Drew Kelly – “Does Exercise Affect Reaction Time” and Jackson Proctor - “What Materials Are Best in Solar Oven?”
