I wanted to provide some information regarding our morning temperature screenings. This process has gone very well so far this year. This was not a requirement for schools, but we made this decision to help mitigate the spread of COVID. We have noticed that as the weather has turned cooler our readings may not be as accurate. Our thermometers are out in the colder temps and we have students exiting heated vehicles; both of these factors may cause inaccurate readings. As an added precaution, most days students will have their temperature checked as they enter the cafeteria. We are currently evaluating this process to determine next steps as we enter the winter months.
