Bags of Blessings
During this season of thanks and giving, our 2nd graders invite you to participate in a school-wide activity. The activity will help those who are hungry. Families are asked to read the Bags of Blessings story and discuss the blessings they have. Then families are asked to pick out food they share with those who are hungry. They can write a fun, loving, cheerful note on the food. The food can be brought to school on Friday, Monday, and Tuesday. We will donate the food to the St. Vincent de Paul Food Pantry here at St. Anthony Parish.
“For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink...I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me.”
